Organize Recipes in Your Cookbook
Use My Cookbook tabs to keep created, saved, tried, favorite, and note-rich recipes easy to revisit.
My Cookbook is your working recipe library. The goal is not to store everything forever. The goal is to keep the recipes you actually want to return to organized enough that you can find them quickly when it matters.
Step by step
Follow these steps in order for the smoothest first pass.
Open My Cookbook and start with My Creations
My Creations is where the recipes you build yourself live. It is the best place to review your own recipes and decide which ones are ready to keep improving.
Use Tried, Want to Try, and Favorites for different jobs
Tried helps you separate recipes you already cooked. Want to Try keeps future candidates visible. Favorites should be reserved for the recipes you want to return to often.
Use Notes to keep personal context close
Notes are where little reminders become part of the recipe, such as serving ideas, timing adjustments, or ingredient tweaks that worked well.
Search and clean up recipes after cooking
When you finish a recipe, fix titles, ingredients, steps, or notes while the experience is fresh. That small cleanup makes later search much better.
Keep the library focused on recipes you would actually use again
A tighter cookbook is easier to trust. Keep recipes that matter, and let the tabs help you separate experiments from repeat favorites.
Quick tips
Small habits that make the feature easier to use.
- Want to Try is best for recipes you mean to revisit soon, not a parking lot for everything.
- Notes often become the difference between a recipe you saved and a recipe you actually repeat.
- My Cookbook works best when you update recipes and notes right after cooking.
