Getting Started with RecipMe

Complete the welcome flow, learn the main areas, and go from first sign-in to first cook.

RecipMe works best when you learn the everyday loop first: discover, create or save, organize, plan, then cook. You do not need to master every feature on day one. You only need a usable starting routine.

Step by step

Follow these steps in order for the smoothest first pass.

  1. Sign in and finish the welcome flow

Complete the welcome steps so RecipMe can set up your account and point you toward the features you are most likely to use first.

  2. Open Discover to browse and search

Discover is the fastest place to understand what RecipMe can do. Browse recipe ideas, test plain-language search, and open a few recipe pages to get your bearings.

  3. Use the create area to import or make your first recipe

Bring in something you actually plan to cook. You can import from a URL, import a YouTube video, scan a photo, or build a recipe yourself with Manual Entry.

  4. Visit My Kitchen and start with the Pantry tab

My Kitchen gives RecipMe context about what you already have. Start by adding the staples, appliances, and equipment that shape your everyday cooking decisions.

  5. Open My Cookbook and learn where recipes live

My Cookbook is where your saved and created recipes become a working library. Use it to find recipes again, organize what you want to try, and keep cooking notes close.

  6. Return to recipe details when you are ready to cook

A recipe detail page is where you review ingredients, adjust servings, check Pantry fit, and launch hands-free cooking when the meal is ready to start.

Quick tips

Small habits that make the feature easier to use.

  • Start with one or two recipes you can cook this week instead of importing everything at once.
  • My Kitchen and My Cookbook become more useful after even a small amount of setup.
  • Use the Help Center search whenever you remember a feature but not where to find it.

Keep going with the next features people usually learn after this one.
